Yes, exactly! I feel like when I use AI for marketing purposes, I'm extra particular in what I get spat back out at me. I still rely on what I know and what I continue to learn. AI can't take that away from me.
Why do you always do this Christina... I swear... it's like you read my mind sometimes. Meaning, there's been more than one occasion where I've had this over arking sentiment that's niggled at my mind towards social media or content or AI, and then you go mic drop an essay that just HITS the spot. Thank you for sharing, please never stop.
Ok, LOVE this (shocker, because +1 to what Max said). You nailed so many parts of this (me nodding along as you talked about the guilt re: environmental impact!!) but I think this end part cut to the quick: "This thing was never meant to replace the muscle, it was just supposed to keep us moving in a business already addicted to output. The job hasn’t changed. You still need to spot the bullshit, and cut the fluffy filler. You gotta trust the instincts that no machine can simulate."
I'm trying to teach myself how to use AI strategically—largely for fear of being "left behind," whatever that means. And I've found Claude's instincts are just... bad. Ok, maybe not bad, but not *mine.* I'm not yet at a place where I 100% trust the output—or even where I 85% trust the output. And if we're all using AI to write AND comment on each other's content, what are we even doing here?
this isn't a sponsored comment, but I always enjoy your writing.
*as she discreetly slips him a five under the table, and winks*

Anyway. Thank you for sharing, per usual!
